The 2025 Nissan Murano boasts a sleek, new modern exterior style with sharper lines and a bold, redesigned front grille. The result is an overall sportier and more sophisticated appearance that takes some styling inspiration from Nissan’s Infiniti luxury brand.

Instead of the prior “floating roof” look this new Murano has a chrome strip that arcs up the A-pillar and back down at the rear to the taillamps. The Platinum models have a two-tone look with a black roof, contrasting with the rest of the body.

New Engine with Enhanced Performance

The 2025 Murano introduces a new engine aimed at delivering improved performance and fuel efficiency. Nissan is retiring the long-enduring 3.5-liter V6 engine and replacing it with a variable compression 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. Nissan also swapped the continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) on previous models for a nine-speed automatic transmission.
