Nissan Recognized for Standout Value in 2025 Cars.com Affordability Report

The 2025 Nissan Sentra S won the compact cars category, the 2025 Nissan Frontier S 4×2 King Cab took the top spot in the mid-size pickup trucks category, and the 2025 Nissan Versa SV was named the best value subcompact car.

A Cars.com survey found 71% of Americans have changed their spending habits in the last year, with 76% reporting that they’re spending less. The goal of Cars.com’s Affordability Report is to identify cars with the best value so you get the most bang for your buck while keeping ownership costs down with low annual fuel costs. 

Nissan: A Leader in Affordability and Quality 

The Cars.com Affordability Report evaluates vehicles based on key factors like price, fuel efficiency, standard features, and overall cost of ownership. Nissan models have earned high praise for delivering exceptional value without compromising on modern features and reliability, making them a smart choice for Atlanta drivers. 

The Cars.com Best Value New Cars list highlights affordable, non-luxury vehicles recommended by the Cars.com editorial team. Editors evaluated hundreds of vehicles from mass-market brands that come equipped with or offer the following features:

• Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• Blind-spot monitoring
• Forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection
• Brake assist 
• Lane departure warning
• Automatic transmission
• EVs: 280-plus miles of range

After identifying which trim level or packages are needed to get those features, the Cars.com team added in the estimated fuel costs for a year to get their final rankings.
